Walkin’ on Wednesday Downtown Amherst Car Show, sponsored by Premier Toyota of Amherst, takes place Wednesday, June 10, July 8, and August 12, 2026 in Downtown Amherst. Registration begins at 4 PM, with cruise-in and participant judging from 5 to 7 PM. Entry is $10, with all proceeds benefiting Main Street Amherst. Enter at the intersection of Tenney Ave. & Church St. No saving spots for parking; cars will be parked in the order they arrive. Winners will be announced after judging, with dash plaques and food vouchers for all entries and awards for Best Vintage (1901-1939), Best Classic (1940-1963), Best Late Model (1964-2000), Most Unique, and Best in Show. Enjoy food & drinks in Downtown Amherst.
